It’s Earth like you’ve never seen it before. NASA on Thursday released what it dubbed the “most amazing high definition” picture of the planet ever taken. The composite photo — titled “Blue Marble” — was recorded Jan. 4 using the VIIRS instrument on the Suomi NPP, NASA’s most recently launched Earth-observing satellite.
