Coast Guard rescues two from breakwall →
U. S. Coast Guard Station Michigan City rescued a grandfather and his grandson that had become stranded on the breakwall at approximately 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
Station Michigan City responded to the scene with a 25-foot response boat-small (RB-S). The crew of the 25-foot Coast Guard boat were able to place the raft in tow and recover the two people from the breakwall.

Missing boater found →
On Wednesday of last week, the body of missing boater, Raymond Callan, 57, of Fairfield was found about three miles south of New Haven by a passing boat which notified the Coast Guard, who, in turn, notified the West Haven police. The police brought the body to shore and it was transported by ambulance to the Connecticut Chief Medical Examiner’s office. Click link for more.

The U.S. Coast Guard medically evacuated a woman from Mackinac Island after she fell from a dock and fractured her leg at approximately 4 a.m. Thursday.
Coast Guard Station St. Ignace launched a 47-foot motor life boat (MLB), with Emergency Medical Services onboard. The woman was transported from Mackinac Island to St. Ignace, where she was taken to a local hospital.

The volunteer lifeboat crew from Red Bay RNLI were involved in a 10-hour rescue operation to free a man trapped under rocks at Fair Head off the Antrim coast in County Antrim. The lifeboat crew launched at 2.30pm on Saturday (25th July) and did not return to the station until after midnight.

The Coast Guard is looking for Max Mulhern and three others who were reported overdue Saturday.
Mulhern was last heard from at 9:30 a.m. on July 22, when his vessel the Momo was ported in New York City.
The Momo is a 40-foot Pearson 60 with a gray hull and one mast.

U.S. Coast Guard Station St. Joseph rescued seven people from a 30-foot Sea Ray taking on water five miles offshore the Pierheads Saturday at approximately 2 p.m.
A Station St. Joseph 47-foot motor lifeboat crew (MLB) transferred the charter vessel’s two captains and five passengers on board shortly before the boat sank.

Reported to be missing is Raymond Callan, 57, of Fairfield, Conn.
Callan’s boat was found under power without anyone onboard and doing circles by the crew of the vessel Carpe Diem, who contacted the Coast Guard.

Sailing vessel American Eagle re-floated; Coast... →
Crewmen aboard the sailing vessel American Eagle re-floated the 92-foot boat from a rocky ledge in Boothbay Harbor Thursday at 2:07 p.m. as the tide came in.
No injuries are reported and the vessel is at anchor in the harbor as Coast Guard marine inspectors from Sector Northern New England aboard try to determine if the while-hulled boat is safe to return to the dock.
